  • Deborah Wagman

    Certified Lead Pilates Instructor/Private Trainer

    Meet our Lead Instructor Deborah Wagman! She's been teaching Pilates for 19 years. Her earlier background as a professional ballet dancer and in fitness have all together made Deborah one of the most admired and sought after instructors in this area. Deborah received her Pilates training with Pilates Academy International in New York City and has continued her Pilates education studying the Classical Method. Part of Deborah’s job as Lead instructor is to guide and Teacher Train the instructors who join our club Pilates Team. In addition, Deborah is a Fascial Stretch Therapist, Level 1 and fully certified bodyART® instructor. She has gained a strong understanding of human anatomy and the science of movement which has enabled her to apply all her skills to very corrective work teaching the Pilates Method. She continues to be inspired by her students of all ages and backgrounds and is dedicated to helping them achieve their goals and an overall sense balance of mind and body. Deborah continually looks forward to bringing this amazing system of stretch, strength, control and FUN to Club Pilates Englewood/Northvale and Fort Lee!

    Certified Pilates Instructor

    Amy is a fitness professional with over 20 years experience. Her passion for fitness and movement led her to the world of Pilates and she became certified in both Mat and Reformer by Pilates Academy International NYC. She is also a certified Yoga teacher and NASM Personal Trainer. The combination of Amy’s education, background and enthusiastic spirit, drives her teaching style to create Pilates classes that truly focus on both the physical body as well as the enhanced personal benefits that come from mindful movement.

  • Jan Bardin

    Certified Pilates Instructor

    Jan was born in Pittsburgh and attended college at the University of Maryland. After living in Chicago and NYC she moved to Bergen County in 1999 and began taking fitness classes in the area. Jan is a Stott certified Pilates trainer and has been teaching pilates since 2012. She is also trained in TRX. Jan loves a challenge and trying different kinds of workouts. She ran the 1998 New York City Marathon with a torn meniscus (the end of her brief running career) and has since found a passion for weight training, spinning and Pilates. After suffering from several injuries Jan started Pilates and was hooked. She found that this specific training helped her heal her injuries and bring balance to the body. Jan decided to turn her passion for fitness and her satisfaction of helping others into a career. She really enjoys training both groups and individuals and absolutely loves building relationships with her clients.

    Certified Pilates Instructor

    Gianna was a ballet dancer for 14 years often using pilates as cross training. After her professional career with the Richmond Ballet, she decided to get certified in pilates through Club Pilates. Gianna also has a certification with Antigravity Fitness. Gianna wants to help you push your body to limits you didn’t think were possible!

  • David Keith

    Certified Pilates Instructor

    David Keith is a North Jersey native with an extensive background in dance and group fitness. His training background includes studies in the BFA Dance Program at Montclair State University, Peridance Capezio Center, & Broadway Dance Center. He has performed in many venues across the tri-state area including the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theatre, Manhattan Movement Arts Center, and Brooklyn Academy of Music. David Keith started his fitness journey after a devastating back injury halted a promising dance career and nearly paralyzed him. He began his studies while employed at Equinox training in multiple barre formats as well as becoming a 200RYT with Yoga Framework under master trainer, Jeff Posner. His injuries are what sparked his interest in becoming a master in low impact modalities that not only changed the body but restored the body as well. David later went on to receive his first 500 Hour Comprehensive Certification in Contemporary Pilates with Pilates Mastery in NYC as well as complete multiple certifications in TRX, TRIGGERPOINT, and FRC. As a dancer, he was taught that you cannot be a strong contemporary dancer without a solid classical foundation which brought him to pursue his second certification in Classical Pilates. David is currently working towards completing his Bridge to Classical Training at Authentic Pilates Learning Center under the tutelage of master trainers Pam DeJohn, Erica Almodovar, and Gwenn Weirzbicki learning the work as Joseph Pilates intended. When training the dancers at Jacob’s Pillow, the dancers described Joseph Pilates class as bootcamp. This is the exact kind of energy David Keith likes to bring into his classes. With his infectious energy, seamless strengthening flows, and curated playlists he welcomes all levels who are ready to work it out. Praised by many for his intelligent programming; clients have witnessed firsthand how taking class with him has improved their body in function and form. Low impact with a real impact is the standard he lives by and his goal is to get you the results you crave.

  • Helen Hong

    Certified Pilates Instructor

    Originally from Seoul, Korea, Helen has lived in the U.S. for over 20 years. She has always been passionate about maintaining an active lifestyle. She enjoys running, cycling, swimming, weight lifting, and yoga. Eager to try new experiences, Helen started Pilates in 2013 in Korea and has fallen in love with it ever since. She realized how much Pilates can help improve posture, tone muscles, and transform both the body and mind. She completed the Club Pilates Teacher Training program, becoming a Certified Club Pilates Instructor. Helen also works at an acupuncture clinic, so she knows how important it is to have good posture and relieve muscle tension. She strongly believes that a healthy body is linked to a positive mindset. In her classes, she hopes to motivate her clients to work hard and encourage them to reach their goals. Helen is fluent in Korean as well. If needed, she would love to explore applying her Pilates skills in Korean. Helen is delighted to join the Club Pilates community!

    Certified Pilates Instructor

    Chella Coelho has been practicing Pilates for the past 6 years. Her passion for a healthy spine led her on her journey to want to understand deeply the biomechanics and the benefit of practicing Pilates. She believes firmly in the words Joseph Pilates stated during his lifetime: “If your spine is inflexibly stiff at 30, you are old. If it is completely flexible at 60, you are young.” She currently holds a certification from Pilates Mastery NYC and is certified by the Pilates Method Alliance.

  • Toni Lynn Borowski

    Certified Pilates Instructor

    Toni discovered Pilates while working in a corporate HR role in NYC in 2003. After the first class, she fell in love with Pilates and continued to take classes to improve her strength and flexibility. Toni would often dream about becoming a Pilates instructor. When Club Pilates began opening studios in North Jersey, she was ecstatic and became a member. She was thrilled when she discovered that Club Pilates offers a Teacher Training Program. Toni completed the 500 hour program in December 2018 to become a fully certified Pilates instructor, a dream come true! Toni is also certified in TRX. Toni’s love of Pilates and helping others be at their best is the perfect combination to bring our clients the very best experience through fun, challenging classes.

    Certified Pilates Instructor

    Ana is from the Dominican Republic and lives in Tenafly NJ. She's a certified Pilates Instructor with addition certifications in Spinning & Zumba. And incorporates her love for all 3 platforms into our Club Pilates workout! She speaks English, Spanish and Hebrew after spending one year in Israel. Ana wants to spread the same loving feelings for Pilates that she has to other people.
